3D Posters are mounted canvas prints of the artist’s original work, treated post-production with fluorescent medium and painted by hand. In daylight or typical lighting they look like a regular print of the original work, but they are unique art works once the lights are off and black-light shows the hidden image. Some versions depicted here might be slightly different in reality, as they are done by hand and intentionally different. Looking at the poster through 3D glasses, the glowing image comes forth and becomes alive.

MEETING IN THE FOREST

“Meeting in the Forest” is a surrealist depiction of a vision where two different worlds meet on the same plane. It is evocative of dreams or higher states of consciousness where we are able to see the invisible or connect the opposites. All the fish depicted in the painting are realistic representations of oceanic species, set in a realistically depicted forest of upstate New York. Dark forest suggests a hero’s journey like in many myths and fairy tales that inspire us. The human character is a woman in white clothing, carrying a delicate necklace (guia, spiritual guiding necklace, or a rosary) in her left hand, and a lantern in her right - symbolizing the search of other worlds on a spiritual path.
